Dinky Diamonds have been embracing the cosy spirit of autumn with a seasonal sensory tray 🍁 Using treasures from their farm trips and nursery finds, children explored sight, touch, smell and sound - shaking conker shakers, sprinkling cocoa, crunching leaves and tasting raisins.

Autumn fun in Emeralds! The children have been busy creating their very own little hedgehogs. Using reference photos and natural materials gathered from the nursery grounds, they used conkers, sticks and clay to bring their ideas to life. A hands-on, seasonal activity that sparked lots of imagination, discussions and creativity!

The children headed out with their buckets to hunt for crunchy leaves, shiny conkers and long sticks before bringing their treasures back inside. Back in the room, things got messy with an autumn painting activity - using the very leaves and sticks they’d collected to make creative prints and patterns.

Last week, our Dinky Diamonds and Tiny Twinkles enjoyed a visit to The Little Play Lounge. They had so much fun exploring the different areas on offer imaginative role play and dress-up, to climbing, sensory play and discovering a wide variety of toys.

Near the end of term, one of our weekly focuses in Sapphires was shadows. To build on this, the children created their own butterfly wings using brightly coloured cellophane. They were fascinated to see how the sunlight passed through the wings, casting beautiful, colourful shadows on the ground 🦋

What an incredible afternoon of energy, teamwork, and sunshine at our Sapphires Sports Day! The children threw themselves into every relay and group race with big smiles and brilliant determination.

What a fantastic sunny afternoon filled with cheer, laughter, and endless fun! Emeralds gave it their all during their sports day, and it was heartwarming to see all the parents cheering them on!

The children loved learning all about what it means to be a police officer - from how they help keep people safe to what to do if you ever need their support.

Jubilee Gems had a spark of excitement as we welcomed real-life firefighters and their amazing fire engine to nursery! 🚒✨
