Butterfly Shadows

Near the end of term, one of our weekly focuses in Sapphires was shadows.

To build on this, the children created their own butterfly wings using brightly coloured cellophane. They were fascinated to see how the sunlight passed through the wings, casting beautiful, colourful shadows on the ground 🦋

It was an exciting way to explore light, colour and creativity - and the sunny weather made it even more special!
