Our annual Christmas Dinner Day at Jubilee Daycare was an absolute joy once again! The children had a fantastic time popping their festive crackers, showing off their Christmas jumpers, crafting their own table mats or hats, and, of course, enjoying the delicious food. 🍽️ A huge thank you to Dawn for preparing such a scrumptious meal – it truly made the days extra special! While it might look like simple fun, water play is one of the many ways children learn and grow. It offers endless opportunities for hands-on exploration, helping them to discover the world around them through splashing, pouring, and sliding. Water play is more than just a refreshing activity on a warm day. It promotes crucial developmental skills in early years, including: Motor Skills : Handling water, pouring, and scooping encourages fine motor development, strengthening hand-eye coordination. Creativity : Children use their imaginations as they play with water, finding new ways to interact with this fluid, ever-changing resource. We love creating fun, hands-on learning experiences for our little gems - and our recent visit from the local police was a real highlight! The children were over the moon to see the police car up close and even got the chance to sit in the driver’s seat, pretending to be officers themselves. 👮‍♂️ The visit was not only an exciting adventure but also a valuable opportunity for the children to learn about safety and the important role police officers play in our community. From flashing lights to curious questions, the children were captivated by the entire experience. A big thank you to the local police for taking the time to visit us and helping to inspire the next generation of community helpers! It’s always a joy to see our children learn through such engaging and real-life experiences. What an unforgettable day! Today, children from both Jubilee Day Nursery and Jubilee Gems Nursery enjoyed a Halloween-inspired adventure as they visited The Little Play Lounge for the grand finale of our Pumpkin Picking event. The outing was bursting with excitement, laughter, and endless opportunities for exploration. The Little Play Lounge was transformed into a gorgeous pumpkin patch, where every child had a chance to get hands-on with pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and even weights. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out October. The smiles, giggles, and tiny hands reaching for pumpkins made this an unforgettable experience.
