Why are mealtimes and nutrition so important to us?
To maintain healthy development and growth children need to eat a nutritionally well balanced diet. As an Early Years setting in West Berkshire we are in a strong position to influence and can contribute significantly to ensuring the health and well-being of your child by providing nursery meals we are proud of.
All our meals are carefully selected and freshly prepared on-site by our talented nursery chef, Dawn, in our nut-free kitchen. Each day, we serve hot, nutritious, and delicious lunches, along with a tasty tea at 4pm. For early arrivals, breakfast is available at 8am, and a healthy mid-morning snack is served at 10am. We’re also happy to cater for vegetarian, vegan, and children with allergies or special dietary requirements.

What meals do we offer during a nursery day?
Our dedicated nursery cook is committed to providing the children with:

Snacks (dedicated snack times and availability of snacks and fruit throughout the whole day if required)

Did you know?
Our kitchen is rated “5” (very good) in food hygiene.
All staff complete their food and safety hygiene certificate.
