To ensure these early years are filled with meaningful learning opportunities and enriching interactions, we have dedicated time to designing and crafting our own bespoke curriculum. This ensures that our core values, learning objectives, and nurturing environments are seamlessly integrated into our daily practice.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed with the intent for children to:
~ Learn to respect themselves, others, and the world around them
~ Cultivate a passion for learning and exploration
~ Take time to appreciate the wonders of the world
~ Build strong self-esteem, confidence, and independence
~ Develop resilience, always being willing to try, persevere, and problem-solve
Our Hygge inspired curriculum is implemented through 4 areas:
~ Participate and enjoy a full forest school session
~ Grow and care for flowering and edible plants
~ Bake a cake
~ Be the brightest gem
Hygge (pronounced as 'Hue-Guh') is the Danish approach to living well, it compliments our ethos and values by having a focus on being in the moment and embracing the feelings of warmth, simplicity and connection.
Through this approach, we deliver our curriculum with a strong focus on our environment, nature and forming meaningful relationships.
Our curriculum areas have been carefully designed to provide children with well-balanced and stimulating learning experiences, while also allowing time to slow down, connect with others, and fully appreciate the present moment.
By the end of each child's journey with us at Jubilee Gems, we are confident they will be school-ready, both mentally and physically.
